Chichen Itza is an old Maya city located on the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico. The site is renound for it's diverse architecture which is a possible effect of the diversity seen in the city. Although it is a whole city the most famous building is the Temple of Kukulcan (seen below). The city is believed to have been the focal point of the Mayan low lands. Chichen Itza is the largest pre-colombian city ever built by the Mayan people and it stands as the most popular tourist attraction in Mexico.
